Blasts in Bangalore and Ahmedabad on consecutive days left India on high alert
This Friday 25 July 2008, militants exploded 9 bombs at 8 places with in a span of few hours in Bangalore, the silicon valley of India. This incident left one dead and 14 wounded. Luckily these bombs are said to be of low intensity thus not causing as much damage as the blasts of Delhi, Bombay and Jaipur.
On the very next day 26 July 2008, another series of blasts occurred in Ahmedabad. There are a total of 16 blasts at 14 places in the span of an hour and half. These blasts caused death of 32 and more than 100 wounded. All major news channels have received an e-mail about the blasts just before 4 minutes from Indian Mujahideen. This is the same group which claimed Jaipur blasts that killed 63 in May.
Militants seem to have chosen those states where BJP is in power. BJP blames weak laws for inability of security personal cracking down on militants.
