Today Supreme court stayed the Delhi High Court’s order of lifting ban on SIMI. The Centre appealed in Supreme Court after the verdict of Delhi High Court. The Supreme Court said that lifting ban on unlawful associations like SIMI is not right especially in the context of recent terrorist attacks. Supreme court ordered SIMI to justify why it shouldn’t be banned.
