Ingredients:

  • 1 tea cup wheat rava
  • 1 red chilli
  • 4 tea cups of water
  • 1 tomato
  • 2 onions (small size)
  • 2 green chilli
  • 1/2 spoon jeera
  • 1/4 spoon salt
  • 1/4 spoon masala powder
  • 2 spoons of oil
  • coriander leaves
  • cashew

Procedure:

Pour 3 spoons of vegetable oil in the pan and heat it on small flame for about a minute. Add pieces of red chilli, jeera, tomato and pieces of onion. Fry until onion gets light gold color. Now add 4 tea cups of water and wait until water is boiled. You should see bubbles forming. Now add salt, masala powder. Now start stirring and slowly add all the rava. Continue stirring until it becomes semi solid. Then add coriander leaves, cashew, dry fruits and your tasty masala upma is ready to serve.
