Pakistan’s ruling coalition is meeting today to discuss about the planned charge sheet against Musharraf. The coalition said that Musharraf misused the United States (US) aid that was given for War on Terror. The coalition promise to file a fool-proof charge sheet that is constitutional and legal. Zardari says he is in danger with this move but he will not detter.

Zardari and Nawaz Shariff to seek impeachment of Musharraf

There has been heavy backlash on Musharraf since he declared state emergency and ousted justices of Supreme Court. During emergency period, he made an amendment that gives him power to dissolve assembly. Later in general elections, his party was thrashed. Nawaz Shariff put enough pressure on his coalition partner to support its effort to oust Musharraf.
